I am a documentary film maker, writer, meteorologist, television and radio host, public speaker, PhD student and University Lecturer. I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada where I have an independent production company, Zurawski Productions Inc., am the on air meteorologist for Rogers Radio (95-7, 91-9 and 88-9 for Halifax, Moncton and Saint John as well as 1310News in Ottawa), published three books, (one about Maritime weather, the second on climate change for the Maritimes, the third on How TV Makes You Stoopid in Science) and completed a host of documentaries about science, weather and history as well as producing three children’s series for television about science, weather and mathematics.

In my documentary production and research for my books I have travelled around the world, from Iran to India to Australia to Japan.

My completed documentaries air around the world and a short list includes Mega Storms, Rail Against the Machine, It Starts with Z: Finding Zarathushtra, Moving People and my latest,  a limited three hour series for Discovery HD called M5 - Weapons of War
